How ordering works
- You choose a collection date, pick what you would like from what is available for that date, and pay online.
- Your order is confirmed when your payment is taken and we have sent you a confirmation email. If you do not receive one, please check your spam folder and then contact us.
- Everything is baked to order for the date you choose, so we limit how many of each item we sell for each date. We can close ordering for a date at any time, for example if we are unwell or short of an ingredient.
- Ordering for each date closes at a set time before collection, shown when you check out.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full price you pay. There are no extra charges. Payment is taken by card through SumUp. We never see or store your card details. If your payment fails or is not completed, we do not make the order and we release the items we were holding for you.
Discount codes
A discount code can be used once per order, has no cash value and cannot be combined with other codes. We can end a code at any time. Some codes only apply to certain items, have a minimum spend, a limit on total uses or an expiry date; the basket tells you if a code cannot be used.
Collection
Collection only, from 25 Ambleside Avenue, Walton-on-Thames on the date you chose. 25 Ambleside Avenue Walton-on-Thames
Please bring your order number or confirmation email. Our products are fresh and cannot be kept. If you cannot collect on the day, please contact us as early as you can. We cannot hold or refund an order that is not collected on the day.
Cancelling or changing an order
Because our products are freshly baked to order and spoil quickly, the 14-day right to cancel that applies to most online purchases does not apply to them (Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulation 28).
Once you have placed your order we start planning and baking for your collection date, so changes and cancellations are at our discretion. If something changes, please contact us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can.
If something is wrong
If an item is not as described, not of satisfactory quality or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible, with your order number and, if you can, a photo. We will replace it or refund you. This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Allergens and dietary information
Our food is made in a kitchen that handles gluten (wheat, rye and barley), milk, eggs, nuts, soya, sesame and other allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from any allergen. Allergens in each recipe are shown on the product where we have them. If you or anyone you are buying for has a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us before you order and ask about the specific item.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care, but not for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Your information
How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Other things
We may update these terms. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to it. These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to put it right.
